Hey Internet, Spencer, and Jacky,
I’ve been using Quartz… and I’m… inspired… with a kind of anger.
Hope has entered the chat - A Hope that a web(space) could capture my ideas.
And that hope leads me to wrestle again with tech… with people… to try to design my way to communication, to connection.
It’s not that I want to force it…
I want to allow
Someone to get lost in the alley way
And stumble on a new way of thinking
Being.
Decentralized
Ungoverned
Not just not disallowed
Maybe ungovernable.
And more I want their feedback, their thoughts, energy, vision, anger, frustration.
I want to hold hands with them and find a better way.
So I went wandering through the alleys.
Gardens and paths.
I found some who are tinkering in the woods.
A little repository away from the giants.
And I started playing
Yes there’s hope…
That ideas will beat clicks
That curiosity will drive away the dopamine hit habit
That conversation, collaboration, interaction will beat likes and emojis
Some hope…
I can create something
And not just consume
