You spent time as The Hermit, thinking you figured it out. You thought you had control. Then the universe rolls the dice.
The Wheel is the Random Number Generator of reality. It is the variable you cannot predict: The market crash. The cancer diagnosis. The viral hit. The breakup. The lottery win. It is the realization that you are not the SysAdmin; you are just a user.
In the corners of the card sit the four fixed elements (The Angel, The Eagle, The Lion, The Bull). They are reading their books. They are the laws of physics, unmoved. But in the center? It spins. On the right, Anubis rises (The rise of the ego/success). On the left, Typhon descends (The fall into chaos/failure). At the top, the Sphinx sits with a sword (The riddle).
The lesson is Latency. Sometimes you are up (High Bandwidth). Sometimes you are down (404 Error). The mistake is thinking that “Up” is who you are and “Down” is a mistake. They are just states. They are just the sine wave of the AC current.
If you cling to the top, you will be crushed when the wheel turns. If you despair at the bottom, you will miss the momentum when it swings back up.
Do not try to stop the wheel. You will break your hands. Find the Center. The axle doesn’t move.
Luck is just the point where preparation meets the algorithm.
